Five days through Sri Lanka's tea country: temples in Kandy, waterfalls and estates on the way to Nuwara Eliya, an early walk to World's End, and Ella's viewpoints. You begin and end at Paramata.

Day By Day
Day 1: Kandy
- Pickup in Kandy. Pickup from the airport or Colombo (about 3 to 4 hours) can be arranged.
- Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and a walk around the lake.
- Kandyan cultural dance show.
- Night at Paramata.
Day 2: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
- About 75 km, roughly three hours with stops.
- Peradeniya, Ramboda Falls, and a tea estate and factory such as Labookellie.
- Gregory Lake, Victoria Park and the old Post Office in Nuwara Eliya.
- Night in a partner hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 3: Horton Plains and Ella
- Leave around 05:00 for World's End and Baker's Falls, a 9 km loop of three to four hours.
- Nanu Oya to Ella by train if the line is running; otherwise we drive via Haputale (about 2.5 hours).
- Night in a partner hotel in Ella.
Day 4: Ella and back to Kandy
- Little Adam's Peak at sunrise, the Nine Arches Bridge (timed with a train) and Ravana Falls.
- About five hours back to Kandy, via Nuwara Eliya or the Mahiyangana road depending on road conditions.
- Night at Paramata.
Day 5: Kandy
- Breakfast, then Kandy market or free time.
- Drop-off in Kandy, Colombo or the airport.

Good To Know
- Rail: the Kandy to Nanu Oya section of the railway has been closed, so this tour leaves Kandy by road. We can arrange the Nanu Oya to Ella train when it is running (tickets extra). Ask us for the current position when you enquire.
- Horton Plains is cold and often misty at dawn; bring a warm layer.
